KMT Construction Holding was established in 1990 at a time when Russia was going through a social and economic crisis. A team of young and enthusiastic professionals with extensive experience from major government construction projects created a small fitting out company (apartments, cottages, homes). Gradually expanding the range of construction services and building a qualified and ambitious team, KMT has become one of the leading construction companies in the Russian market. Our Company has worked with numerous foreign clients and gained valuable experience in the Russian and foreign markets. This has allowed our Company to gain a significant market share and achieve substantial success in the construction business within two decades.

In 1990 KMT completed several private projects which resulted in orders from a number of major clients.
With several successful projects, the Company has gained a reputation of a reliable partner.
From 1993 through 1995 KMT worked on two Sberbank branches (33,350 sq.ft.). The Company did interior finishing, installed ventilation, air conditioning and communication systems and did cosmetic repairs. KMT installed alarm, fire protection, video surveillance and access control systems.
At the same time KMT began working with Pricewaterhouse. The company completed two construction projects: turnkey interior finishing of an office (15,060 sq.ft.) and remodeling a study room for new staff of the company (1,180 sq.ft.). KMT also remodeled an office (3,200 sq.ft.) of the Pyotr Arsenyevich Smirnov Foundation. In those projects the KMT staff displayed their high degree of professionalism and organization, further improving the goodwill of the company.
In 1998 the country was struck by an economic crisis which forced many potential customers to leave the construction market. The consequences of the crisis were long-lasting but did not hinder the KMT development. In 1993-2002 KMT worked with Hines Corporation, a leader in real estate transactions and property management. KMT worked at Park Place Moscow, one of the most prestigious hotel, residential and business complexes in the capital with 80 offices, 150 apartments and hotel rooms. Since 1993 KMT has been responsible for most minor and major repairs, remodeling and special projects at Park Place.
In 1997-2000 KMT won the bid to install lighting in the Pokrovsky Hills and Donskoy Posad elite cottage settlements, where our Company also did fitting out after installation work by Turkish Tekser.
Soon after KMT completed a project in the Tekstilschiki Department of the Labor and Employment Committee, South-East Administrative District of Moscow (20,440 sq.ft.). KMT remodeled and fitted out the building, did facade and roof work. KMT remodelled the Schering office (10,800 sq.ft.).
In 1994 KMT started working with KRKA, a major Slovenian pharmaceutical company. KMT remodeled the KRKA’s office (6,450 sq.ft.) and built 2,150 sq.ft. of warehouse facilities. The remodeling was done without interruption of the KRKA’s activities, which did not affect the project duration or quality, and did not interfere with KRKA's operations.

In 2003-2009 KMT supplied quarterly fitting out, remodeling and engineering installation services to Credit Suisse, Alfa-Bank, Bank of Moscow, Swedbank, UniCredit Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, and BSGV (535, 630 sq.ft.). KMT completed numerous office projects for Bene, Nikoil Investment Banking Group, Office Center 39, Westbuilding Company, The Yeltsin Foundation, CONDE-NAST (VOGUE-GQ-AD), ACE Insurance Company, Gide Loyrette Nouel, JSC Amer Sports, Nord Stream AG, BNP Paribas, Munich Re Group, DUNLOP, Maxxium, LLC Scania Russia, Horus Capital, Donstroy, DOW, Marshall Capital Partners (LLC Morbel Limited), Zhivodan RUS, ООО Северсталь, ООО Турин Авто, and LLC Aerofuels Inc. . (430, 400 sq.ft).
